Axin Foods was founded with a simple goal: to make high-quality gluten-free and organic foods easier to find for individuals and families seeking trustworthy ingredients. After experiencing the challenges of sourcing reliable specialty foods, we set out to create a store focused on food safety, ingredient transparency, and carefully selected products that meet high quality standards.
Based in Scarborough, Axin Foods proudly serves customers across Toronto, North York, Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Mississauga, and surrounding communities. As a health food and organic food store, we offer a carefully selected range of gluten-free, organic, non-GMO, vegan, dairy-free, and plant-based foods, providing convenient options for a variety of dietary preferences and lifestyles.
Our Gluten-Free Standards
Natural products refer to foods that are unprocessed or minimally processed. These products may contain trace amounts of gluten and are therefore not safe for individuals who are highly sensitive to trace gluten. We eat and evaluate these products, and if they are deemed safe, they are labeled "No Wheat". Over time, more products will be evaluated and labeled as "No Wheat".
We follow internal food safety standards that are stricter than those set by Health Canada. To prevent cross-contact between gluten-free products and products that may contain trace amounts of gluten, each category is processed in separate packaging areas.
